The Scroll Arrives

One night, the King and I drove to Punalu’u Beach on the Island of Hawai’i.

When I got out of the truck, an energy descended upon me, putting me into an altered field.  I had a vision of ancient Hawai′i. I saw a woman on the beach pounding taro root into poi. Behind her, I could see a traditional Hawaiian village as once existed. The vision had great beauty and caused me great sadness over the loss of that ancient civilization. To visit the history of that ancient civilization, you can read Tales from the Night Rainbow (Mo′oleol o na PIMakole): The Story of a Woman, a People, and an Island by Koko Willis and Pali Jae Lee.

As the vision continued, a presence approached me wearing a robe with a cowl.  The presence gave me a scroll. The presence said the scroll was the new bible. I placed the scroll deep within myself.

When I “woke up,” I looked over at the King.  He, too, appeared to be waking up.  When I asked about his experience, he said that he had a vision exactly the same as mine, right down to the woman pounding poi.  Then Pa’ao, an important figure in Hawaiian history, who came from Tahiti to tell the people of Hawai’i that they needed to prepare for war because the European nations were invading Polynesia.  Pa’ao imposed a heavy-handed militarization on a peaceable civilization.  The King experienced going into battle against Pa’o.

The next day, a process began for me the kept me at the computer for weeks as The Conscious Bible emerged.

While recording the creation process from the perspective of the scroll, various experiences occurred and stories appeared. Stories written earlier at the Light Worker Center in Hilo, Hawai′i returned to be included.
